Discrimination.

Discrimination. It is something that happens all over the world, everyday. Its formal definition is: the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, esp. on the grounds of race, age, or sex. Discrimination has been a worldwide issue for a long time; even though it has decreased since early years, it still exists. There are many types of discrimination, big or small. Harassment, teasing and bullying are all under the category of discrimination, and I have been a victim of them. That is why discrimination is a huge concern to me; I have seen it destroy lives and change the personality of people. I believe that all people should be accepted for who they are with equality, diversity and without discrimination.

Now, it’s left to five days of 2010, of December and of ever this moment. There’s the moment, you see it and feel it. Now it’s gone. Gone and never coming back. [going going gone]

2010 has been a great time and year for lots of people, and I cast my vote to that side too. I agree, for the experiences listed above. I love it dearly, I will remember but let go; hoping that the year 2011 will be another and just as spectacular as what we have here. I am excited; still to celebrate New Year, but I’m not sad. There’s plenty more to live, I am thankful and grateful for everything put in front of me. We all get road bumps, sure, but there are many people around to make them bearable…turn to them, they are there for a reason, to help and be a friend.

This life is complicated, but I see how it works. I am beginning to be okay with it and accept things the way they are. After all, that’s all one (we) can do, right?

LUNAR ECLIPSE

total eclipse of the heart

I have never seen a lunar eclipse, and anything eclipse really. there’s a lunar eclipse happening RIGHT NOW, I was shocked to see it for real!!!
This is amazing; just standing there looking up to the big white sphere that we call moon, big and strong to cover our heads.
I even got my stubborn brother to take a loo at it! I feel relatively accomplished.
And to myself. I can finally say I have seen a lunar eclipse. {:
