John Trudell

John Trudell — movie and discussion at CCA, Sunday Aug 19, 2007

Yesterday night I got the opportunity to go see a movie about John Trudell, a Native American activist-artist with whom I was somewhat familiar.

At first I thought the movie would be boring; a waste of time. But then I started to remember a tad bit of the film story, and I got to appreciate it fully. Actually, I enjoyed it because it exposed most of his personal life, getting to know him better, and (even more important) learning many historical facts about Native Americans, including recent events, and their on-going struggle in this country.

After the movie, John Trudell in person showed up and hold a question-answer discussion. Toward the end I had the courage to ask him a question:
“What could we, as the young people of our generation, do to influence our future??” Then came a very-well known reply:
“Question everything. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If your opinion makes sense to you, go right ahead, and leave the others behind. Learn from your own mistakes. The mistake is always a teaching lesson.”

I think that was a very good experience for me, and I will try to follow what he has taught me and told me from his heart.

I’m Moving!

hello!!b I’m moving out of this house with my mum finally!!! I’m so over-joyed. I get my own room, and I will defiantly have a party there! You can (all) come!

I’m catching up here, still a little tired…and i have a cold??!!!! maybe………DAMN!

‘M getting along with Harry Potter,  and I ‘m reallly having a blast. Let’s go see a movie! Sseya!!  Ciao
